Guinea pig sense of smell.. Just wow 😮

I cut my two pigs a piece of apple each, on purposely I cut it silently, opened and shut the fridge silently also before this. Came back in the living room where they live, yep you guessed it, two snouts as high in the air as can be

I have, the first time they pull a funny sour face and slaps their lips a bit, then realise its nice. That's what happened here anyway

Mine are having a little piece of apple each tonight. I was going to do banana, but I don't want an upset tummy for them now lol

My OH was sneaked an apple upstairs, (if you share with 6 guinea pigs there's not much left!) they went mad they must have been able to smell it. Now he goes down to the shed when he wants a whole apple.

Jess despises any type of orange, also strawberries and raspberries Because Luigi was such a fussy fella when he came he’s also decided it’s evil because Jess said so! Rupert just loved that he got something she didn’t pinch out of his mouth! As she was hiding from the nasty stuff piggy mummy was trying to poison her with!

Dennis and Betsy certainly did and didn't pull any funny faces either . Would have tried Meg & Christian this morning as it should have been clean out day today but I've had to postpone clean out day until tomorrow as house alarm was fitted today. I'll let you know tomorrow how Meg & Christian fare with the strange new taste

That’s Jess with basil! Just didn’t eat it (devil food again!) so Luigi got scoffing!

Meg and Christian had their first taste of Clementine today.

Megs reaction was sniff it, taste it leave it must run away from it as it's Devil's food.

Christian's was nom nom.

Christian: Oh good Meg left her's I'll scoff that too!
Meg: Oi Christian whatcha eatin'? Hey that's mine give it to me!
Christian: No you left it it's mine now!

I give Meg another piece of Clementine.

Meg: Oo yum yum this is lovely.
Christian: Oh Meg! You've not left me any! I think you need a clean up around your mouth. I'll just lick it for you to make sure you've no Clementine left....

Christian is such a gent at times!
