Guinea Pig Shed & New Run!

hello I'm megan ive been on here a while since my guinea pigs was around 4-6 weeks old but then i went quiet shortly after getting two guinea pigs I found out i was pregnant so havent been on here for a while! I had 2 guinea pigs then they started getting to big for there cage and we had a shed at the top of the garden not doing anything so I decided to put my 2 piggies up there they would get more exercise then I had the idea of Getting 2 more girl piggies... then I ended up getting a few more so now in total I have 7 ranging from 2yrs to 13 weeks old. then I see a video on youtube where this girl had a big run built onto her shed so now that's what I'm currently doing! managed to get my partner to help :P

anyway we have been doing it all for well over 7 weeks digging out a hole and flattning the surface and putting wire underground so the piggies cant get out and nothing can get in :) its 6ft by 13ft run. were nearly finished with the wire and will be digging tomorrow to put all wire and frame in the ground then we can put grass seed down! :D

done some more work on the shed and pen the last 2 days. put timbercare paint on the wooden door ( paint is animal safe) and I tied the netting down with some more cable ties and checked for any gaps etc now we just got to dig more and move it into place and connect it to the shed! then get the grass seed down. ive also put another parting in the shed so the piggies get more light in and I can hang some toys of the wire. also need to sort the shed door out I'm wanting it like a stable door with some wire at the top with some netting so flys cant get in at summer time and I can still leave the door open at summer without being up there so cats etc cant get in.

can anyone recommend some toys for them ? I have a log to put out in there run and a little house thing, they also have a plastic tunnel. anyone recommend anything else ?

if anyone has any ideas etc id love to here them :)

getting there put grass seed down and done the base now just need to staple the wire to the shed! :) painted there little house that is going in the run :) anyone have any suggestion's on things I can put in there? x

:D Wow! That's a great set-up! Piggies love things that they can run through and/or hide in/under. Plastic piping and wooden houses like in your first picture would be great.

How will you keep the ran off? And what will you do when they have eaten all the grass?
