I was talking to someone this morning who sadly has just got 2 four week olds from a breeder. The breeder was saying that she has a long waiting list of people waiting for babies and also pet shops are demanding that she breeds more so they have a good supply!
 
Ouch!

More "rescue fodder" in the offing - and that's the lucky ones!
 
Aw, those poor guinea pigs - they will totally be bred back to back if the breeder knows that there is a huge demand. Stupid pet shops.
 
Shows the pure greed of the stores if they are "demanding more". Eurgh.
 
That is sad! P @ H near me havent had a good supply of pigs for a while now. I dread to think of the poor piggies who are suffering becuase of the demand.
 
oh and the lady asking for a pair of piggies and asking when the next ones came in i told her to look at rescues and told her she would get well looked after ones there and more likely to find a bonded pair :)
