Hi, i'm very worried by my guinea pig! Since yesterday on the night I've notice that my guinea pig was having problem walking or even moving. I thougt maybe he got hirt by jumping or something like that. I woke up these morning and he is not moving, his breathing is a little bit fast, see that his eyes a little dirty and some mocus. I check his feet, touch his stomach, he din't say a peep. But when a grab him notice that he was a little hot. I don't nkow about these things, but I think that he has some kind of fever and by that he is not moving and so on. By the way I fed him a little carrot and he ate it, I dont see poop but a little bit of pee. Please help!

Well hello to the forum.

He needs a vet now. Whilst I cannot diagnose what is wrong, I do know a piggie not moving ain't good and requires medical treatment. Pigs are hardy animals but this doesn't sound all that good.

Do you have a vet already?
Is your piggy alone?

It is worth thinking about anything your pig has eaten etc..and pass this information onto your vet.

Good luck.

I'm pretty sure a more savvy cavy owner on the forum may give you further advice.

Must agree with lil...your piggy really needs to see a vet immediately, he is definitely not well and you owe your pets the treatment they require when poorly :(
Please find a vet and call them asap - time is of the essence here :...

Have you checked all over, if he is not pooping it could be impaction but the simple fact that he is not moving would indicate something more than that. When one of mine wasn't feeding well I gave plenty of watery and soft veg to try and encourage them but yes definitely needs a vet as it could be serious

Hi, your Pig needs immediate veterinary attention, this cannot wait for opening hours. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you xx
