Hello! I have had my Guinea Pig for 2 weeks and 5 days, Pork & Katsu. Today after cage cleaning, one of them (Pork) have been sleeping in open place; should i be worried? She’s eating well and drinking well too but she stopped sleeping in her hiding spot :eek:FADF264B-F487-4B59-929B-CD8F1E4FC282.webp

My big ginger fluff ball Gibson does this - he just doesn't seem to have the fear gene!

If she is eating, pooping, weeing and otherwise acting normally, I wouldn't worry too much, she obviously just feels super-chilled!

Feel blessed that your piggies are feeling so safe and at home that they dare sleeping out in the open!

Just make sure that they are not doing it because they are overheating and this is the coolest place, considering you living in a tropical climate.
Hot Weather Management, Heat Strokes and Fly Strike
