Do guinea pigs sleep standing sometimes? My senior guinea pig right now is standing up with his eyes slightly closed. Hes breathing pretty deeply, i can see him moving up and down. I'm sorta scared that theres something wrong but i think he might just be sleeping, is he?

Do you mean standing on hind legs? Or all fours if the latter yes. They don’t always look like they are lying down

I mean all four. Ohh ok, i always see him standing and just doing nothing i always thought that he was just so bored!
 
I was just scared becouse he was breathing so deeply so i thought something was wrong.
 
No, he is just being a pig :)
 
One of mine sleeps like that. Caspy will be eating hay and drop off to sleep, he wakes up and just carries on munching as if nothing happened!
 
does you pig ever move their hind feet back and forth in their sleep because they stand? my pig just was and i dont know if its normal or a concern just thought i could ask and see c:
 
I sometimes feel that the line between asleep and awake is a bit more blurry for guinea pigs. He may have been half-awake, like dozing.
