Guinea Pig Sneezing And Coughing

Tonight I noticed my guinea pig sneezing and coughing. His coughing sounded bad like he's choking. So I tried to look in his mouth and didn't see anything he's choking on. Should I be worried? Does he need to go to the vet?
 
Has he stopped doing it now? If so he might have had a piece of food stuck and he's sorted it. Mine sometimes eat really fast and cough when they swallow something.

If you're worried then definitely have a vet check he over. It's always best to feel a bit daft when the vet confirms they're okay.

I would keep an eye on him today to see how he goes. Maybe give him a bit of his favourite food to eat to see how he manages it.
 
I think he's fine now. He stopped coughing! He's been eating his hay and I gave him a small piece of bell pepper. He ate that up
 
Sounds like he's fine, but of course if it continues take him to the vet. Mine are just like Jaycey's, Godfrey likes to stuff and then he coughs. Worrying, but adorable :D
