Guinea pig sneezing...

Ok it sounds like when someone holds their nose when sneezing and a little noise comes out rather than the sneeze...

Does anyone elses guineapig do this? One of mine does it about 2-3 times a day at no particular time...

is the bedding dusty? or has there been a change in bedding? does piggy sneeze same time everyday? sounds like some sort of allergy. try changing one thing at a time and see how you go. hugs to you and your piggy
 
She doesnt sneeze at the same time everyday... And she doesnt sneeze when the new hay is put down...

The hay can be dusty because i buy in bulk and the hay i buy they like because they can make tunnels and the tunnels will stay for a while because the hay is long cut not short...

Its a mystery!
 
One of ours does that - it's kind of like a popping sound. He usually does it when we pick him up and have him on our laps
 
I know it is very cute! It sound like a small persons sneeze when they are trying to hold it in!
 
Mine occasionally sneeze, but it's generally when I put new hay in (it's not particularly dusty, but it must be a bit)

If she is sneezing a lot and it is worrying you, a vet would be a good idea I think.
