Hiya. I was just wondering what this means. Rio was sat on my kneww last night and i heard her sneeze? Then later when she was back i her cage I heard her sneeze 4-5 times over a period of 2 hours. Is she allergic to something? Or what else could this be?

Thought it was only mine that do it. I expect they are just like us and get dust in their noses, they catch colds so I expect it's nothing serious as long as their eyes and noses etc. are OK.

It could be a respiratory problem or she's got something up her nose that's irritated it. The best bet is to keep a close eye on her and take her to the vets asap. Better to be safe than sorry!

They are on wood shavings that says they are dust extracted. Could they cause respiratory problems?

It's a possibility. Your best bet is to take your piggie to the vet. They'll be able to establish the cause of the sneezing.

Some piggies are allergic to wood shavings, are they indoors out outdoors? Might be worth changing the bedding to see if that helps.
Is there any runny eyes or nose as well?

They live indoor and I have been watching intently and my mum asked me is she scratching and I have noticed she is. The other piggie is fine no sneezes no itchyness. I have just been to listen to her breath and she is breathing fine. No crackling sound.

It might be the wood shavings. I had my piggies on wood shavings, and then changed to fleece.
The fleece did not work so well, and I went back to wood shavings. Since then, my one piggy sneezes and scratches a lot.
I am now quite sure its the wood shavings, as he did this before when he was on shavings, but it stopped when they were on fleece.
I will now change back to fleece, and use puppy pads under the fleece - hopefully that will sort my problem out.

Yep sounds like the shavings to me. fleece or Vet bed are great. Vet bed I think is worth the bit extra i find it so easy to deal with. :)

I'm going to try fleece this week. I am just going to change their bedding and shall see if that stops her problem.

I did this, one of mine sneezed a few times on wood shavings so I changed to fleece and they have been fine since. Their eyes and noses where fine so I just think it was a bit of an irritant for them

my pigs used to sneeze a fair bit, they are now on shredded newspaper and not hay (after an eye poke incident, but have hay to eat of course) and don't seem to any more.
