Guinea pig sniffing

Wow so you get other people to sniff your pigs! My friends would have me locked up if I invited them to have a sniff lol
Oh yes - we take weirdness to new heights here :D
I would likle to add that I don't personlly make my own adult friends smell the guinea pigs when they pop over for coffee, but all the kids friends call Eddi 'Cinnamon Pig' (Zimt-Saüli).

One of my kids likes to sniff the pets (she actually likes to sniff everything.) I will certainly bury my face in my pigs' fur all the time.

This thread has had me chuckling. I’m a piggy sniffer, too. And they do have different aromas. I think it depends where they have been sleeping. If they’ve been in a cleanly washed cosy they can smell like fresh laundry, if they have been in fresh hay they can smell of clean hay. If they’ve been rolling in other people’s dirty fleeces (oh yes, I have one of those) they can smell of wet dog! I love it when they’ve just had juicy peppers and their whiskers are still damp and they smell of peppers when they kiss you.

Hmm still not sure. Maybe when everybody's at work/school tomorrow so they can't see me. My OH already thinks I'm weird:crazy: when it comes to my piggies and if he saw me sniffing them it would def confirm it!

I love sniffing my piggies, and my OH used to sniff his goats and horse :) I dont sniff my giant snails much though because they make my face slimy... but they still have a nice pet smell!

Do you need help?
Nope generally I don't go around sniffing piggies I only sniffed Meg cos everyone said theirs smelt nice! I don't think damp horse is a particularly nice aroma so I certainly won't be doing it again! Thanks I cured before it even became and addiction!

I must admit I have never sniffed a damp horse before :hmm: Perhaps I should go and sniff one out :D

I never have out of choice! I used to go riding with Mum years ago and when you go riding in the rain the smell just ends up going into your nostrils whether you want it to or not!:yikes: It's not a pleasant pong:vom: (well I didn't find it pleasant anyway).

Eesh!:vom:

We got our first cuddles with our girls today and sniffed and nuzzled Toffee and Truffles. They smelled of hay and they were lovely and soft and warm.

Poor things must have been wondering what on earth was going on!
