So ive had my two boys for about a week now and theyre just about settled in even though I had to completely change their home to a cage :( theyre starting to make noises but I'm unsure of what they all mean ive looked online but dont really get it lol. At the moment they are swaying hips and I think its like a purring sound.. but sometimes they will squeak..high pitched! Anyone able to explain some noises to me :) thanks.... pic is both of them sat on my partners lap(who didn't even want piggies) xx

I read the hip swaying is a sign of dominance x

They may be in season, or a dominance behaviour. So please be wary.
It is called rumblestrutting. High pitch squealing doesn't mean any pig has been hurt, it's just them warning enough other!

The squeaking can be when theyre just out of the hidey bit on their own.. dont need to be near the other :/

If it's like a high pitched squeal then this is one showing submission to the other, likely which ever is doing the hip swaying! Perfectly normal for young boys and can continue for many months.
