Recently a couple weeks ago I accidentally dropped my guinea pig and and we took her to the vet where they said she had a spinal injury (and she dragged her legs) and gave us meloxicam for her and she's been resting and taking her meds but hasn't shown much of recovery in her legs and was wondering if someone has any suggestions on how to help her walk again.

I don’t have experience of this kind of thing, but it surely depends on how severe the injury was as to how long it takes her to regain any movement. What did your vet tell you about the chances of her making a full recovery? Is she still on her meds? How often is she having her meds?

This guide can offer you some information Looking after guinea pigs with limited or no mobility

Did they offer x-rays? I know in my practice we always offer several approaches and in this case x-rays to have a clear look at what was going on would be offered. Perhaps a second opinion from another practice?

Hi!

Please follow the tips in our mobility care guide link to help keep your piggy as comfortable, clean and healthy as possible.

Has an x-ray been taken to establish the nature of the injury and have you spoken to the vet again if there was no improvement or a deterioration within a few days of the fall?

They didn't show us the x ray but said she broke one part of her vertebrae and that was it and she still on the meds until her bottle is empty and we need a refill. But after a couple of days she started to be her normal self but her legs were being dragged but overall she's doing fine eating drinking still wheeking for food and now she's been able to keep herself clean but her legs are the only problem now

and she also had some movement in her right leg after a couple of days but so far thats the only improvement so far in her legs. And last night we found that her left foot was swollen but i don't think its bumblefoot because its only a little swollen and it looks better today.

Hi!

I would have her vet checked again; swelling in a foot should be checked. It means that that lymphatic or blodd circulation could be interupted or blocked.
