So for about 3 days cookie hasn't been drinking. I also just went to clean the cage out and it was very wet in the hutch so I think he has also been peeing a lot.

What bedding do you use? Is it wetter then usual? Did his bottom feel wet? Is it usual for him to stop drinking? Have you checked the water spout is not blocked?

I use aspen shavings. Yes it is and his bottom does feel wet. No its not usual for him stop he stopped drinking on the 21st and its now the 23rd and hasn't drunk any. Yes the water spout works perfectly fine.

Any squeaking when weeing? Any weight loss?

Sometimes my piggies drink much less than other times. Has he been having wet veg that are giving him his fluids (cucumber etc)? Does he seem well in himself if not perhaps take him to the vets.

He's had a bit of broccoli, apple as a treat and lots of lettuce, He does seem well in himself. (he was eating his own poos a bit as well)

They do eat their own poo's totally normal, they do special ones which they eat.

It may be that he is getting his fluid from his veg, our first two piggies hardly ever drank form the bottle ever...

Here is a link to a video on how to weigh your piggies www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/videos/ Weighing is useful as often it is the first sign of any illness.

With a Urine Infection you'd expected a bit of a wetter bottom due to a increased frequency in peeing and increased drinking, but he has stopped drinking. You'd alos expect to here him drying and hunching when weeing.

I would keep a close eye on him, if he stops eating or sits around fluffed up get him to the vets for a check over.
