I posted up last week about my piggy that seemed to be loosing weight well I booked him into vets and the appointment is today (fingers crossed all goes well) 8...

It has just occurred to me though that I don't have a plastic pet carrier (its at my mums), just a cardboard one.

What do people use other than plastic ones as a safe transportation?

Thanks

We have used a A4 Cardboard box re-enforced with tape underneath and air holes put in once. As with any cardboard please ensure it is strong enough, worth grabbing a pet carrier for next visit. Hope your little one is okay

I have been given anti-biotics for a respiratory infection :( hopefully though piggie will be itself soon

Oh no, A respiratory infection. Hope everything goes well. But like sport billy said, get a strong cardboard box, not to big, nor to small, and make sure there are a fine amount of holes for air, and just to be sure - As you hold him when he is in the box, hold under the box.. so just incase. We dont want any accidents! Lots of hugs of hope for you and your piggies! Update us on his/her health!

xx
