Hi all ☺️

I’ve recently moved back to Northern Ireland and was wondering if anyone can recommend a good exotic vet specialist in the area?

Thanks!

No clue I’m afraid. Hopefully someone can direct you, but I think there aren’t many there. Have you tried doing a google search?

Hi! Northern Ireland (or Ireland outside Dublin) is sadly not a good area for piggy savvy vet access and there is no vet I can recommend. To my knowledge there should be an exotics vet or two in Belfast but there is none that specialises in guinea pigs or sees lots of them. You may have to google and shop around for the best vet yourself.

Our vet locator relies on member recommendations for their area as we cannot check in the high hundreds of vet clinics seeing that we are all modding on the forum for free in our own free time. We've never received any recommendations for Northern Ireland unfortunately for you.

Thank you both for getting back to me - I’ve been doing a bit of research myself but thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask for some recommendations ☺️

Hi, I know it's been a while but did you find a good vet in Northern Ireland. I trying to find a good one as well, but no luck so far.

@mims11 , this member hasn't been online for several years so you won't get a reply. Do any of the pets at home shops there have vets for pets in them? I'm asking because often these vets see more guinea pigs than others due to them being sold in the store. I personally have had good experiences with them too.
