Pegasus used to have a cataract in her eye, and it seems to have slumped to the bottom of her eye. But tonight, her eye was bulging and clouded. It appeared to be bloody behind the lens on the inside corner of her eye.
Finding a good exotics pet doctor here is very difficult.
The emergency clinic said she has glaucoma and wanted $2000 to remove the eye.
We will be going to her regular vet asap.
What I am wondering is, how rational is that diagnosis?
She hasn't been wheeking or whining. Her intake is the same and her output as well.
She is a senior piggie. She is probably a little bit over six years old, but she is just as pushy and strong as ever.
Any suggestions before I go listen to a capitalist vet?
