Hi everyone, Sam (my OH) gave me a very special early birthday gift and christmas gift. He took me to a Cat rescue where we adopted a kitten today. And I want some feedback on this:

Instead of wanting to tease and pester the guinea pigs, she doesn't even acknowledge them. The only time she looks at them is when she wakes up. She checks to see if they are fine and then goes and does her own thing. Not once has she tried to bat at them through the cage or anything. I had one of them on me tonight and she came up sniffed her and left to go to lay down in her bed.

She is 16weeks old and is as well mannered as a 2 year old cat. You tell her no and she listens......

our cat likes to sit on my lap with one of our piggies, he just curls up and goes to sleep, and the piggies are not scared of him x

I have a rescue cat too and it's like she knows exactly what i'm saying :) she chases off cats that sit watching the guineas when they're out in the runs and she licks them when theyre on my lap :))

We have two cats. Murdock we've had since a kitten and he was about 4 when we got pigs. He wants to BE a guinea pig and likes to settle down in the hay if you let him rolleyes

Oliver was a stray we took in last year an he avoids the pigs at all costs. Marmite snuck up on him the other day and he shot off upstairs!

Hope your little kitty settles in quickly :)

Lily has settled in nicely. Took ten minutes to feel comfortable, only up with her once, but this morning we both woke up to having her in between us, all curled up and quiet and sleeping.
