Good morning everyone. I am currently at towersey folk festival sitting in my campervan waiting for the kettle to boil and a sudden thought popped in to my head that hopefully some of you can help with! :)

I know alot of you guys use fleeces and toys in your cages but how do you know if they are safe for your pigs? What do you guys do if they start trying to eat their furnishings!

I am just curious because my lot anything and everything! When i have them on the sofa if i turn my back on brosie for 5 seconds she is eating part of my cats bed! :))

I also wondered about this - I ordered mine some pro-fleece off ebay in the end, but would be good to know for future reference xx

i personally dont like fleece as my piggy tried eating it, plus i imagine it smells when urinate soaked and washing it in the washer i wash my cloths in? Yuk! No thanks. I use wood shavings personnaly as it doesnt matter if ditto eats it.. Its a matter of personal preference. I just feel wood shavings are more natural, i mean guineapigs wouldnt have fleecy blankets and beds in the wild would they... I dont like the idea of fleece but thats just my opinion.
