Our stairs lead off from our kitchen and it is the same ish temperature on the stairs as it is in the outhouse (where the piggy's live) when the door is closed in the winter. My idea is that during the winter, I can cuddle them on the stairs so that they're not being brought in to the warm living room and then being taken back in to the outhouse. Anyway, we have 3 bigger steps at the bottom of the stairs as they bend around the corner and I have been putting the girls pet blanket on one of the steps and letting them sit on it. It has worked well so far as they seem to enjoy just sitting and laying there watching while I clean the kitchen etc. The only problem is that Eliza has discovered how to climb the stairs :o She only goes up 1 or 2 steps before she comes back down but I am just wondering if it is safe and also does it sound like a good idea when the colder months are here?
