OK I concede, chicks are cute! But fishing is horrid - they suffocate out of water and they have nerves like anything else I think.

lol well i wouldn't eat a chick, but i do eat free range eggs. Considering that the eggs will never be chicks anyway as they are hardly ever fertilised!

chickens lay eggs everyday without having to have a male there. That's why people keep hens and not cockerels, because they can get eggs out of hens, without the need to feed a cockerel aswell.

Chicken eggs have everything they need to produce a chick all they need is the sperm, so basically the egg developes quickly inside the hen with everything ready so that a male can come along and fertilise it.

ah well thats abit easier because they are mammals, so that's evolution, so it was the guinea pig pup.

but the chicken/egg thing baffles me lol...i guess it would be the egg. like another bird layed it and it came out a chicken instead of a Dodo or whatever haha
