Hey! I only joined today so sorry if I have posted this in an incorrect place. I have a quick question! My pigs have always been indoor boys however we moved recently and they are currently in the hutch in a very sheltered and insulated place outside. We have c&c arriving in a few weeks however the temperature has recently dropped suddenly. We have the boys in their cuddle cup in our room at night due to the cold however we don't have food and water in the room. Are they ok for this for the night? They seem perfectly happy but I don't want to do anything which I think is kind but in fact is cruel. Thank you :)

This isn't ideal for them no, as they need to eat continually so their gut keeps working, so if they have no food at all overnight it could cause issues. Also, pigs are sensitive to fluctuations in temperature. Could you keep them in their hutch overnight with extra hay and their cozies to keep them warm?

Welcome to the forum by the way.

They should have a minimum of hay & water because they eat continuously & with hay being dry they'll need the water

Ok great thank you we have put their cuddle cup in the hutch with their towel and lots of hay and cabbage and of course pellets and water. Just worry it's hard for them during this outdoors transition period as they aren't used to it! Thank you so much for the advice :)
