Oh my goodness I'm shaking. Lillith's bum is REALLY WET. It's all underneath. Its clearly pee but very wet, what do I do? I'm going to change her bedding right now and come back on...Will this be wet tail? Rusty wont catch it right. I did research pn wet tail but thats all out the window noe I cant remember a darn thing! there's no cuts or redness yet? What do I do!?8...8...8...

Her poop is a nice dark colour, and nice and hard, I'm using aspen shavings, she eats and drinks normally, everything else looks fine, its just her bum is soaked. Shes 2 years old.

So last night my mother and I took a cloth and wiped her down. Today she was a lot less wet, theres just a bit or dampness in some spots, but shes a lot better today. I'm just curious about what happened.:{:{

Does it smell at all, sometimes this happens when the piggie gets a water infection. I would take a trip to the vet and have her checked out.

One of my pigs, Stan, has a permanent wet and very yellow bum as he lays in his pee continuously, he also has a very active grease gland, his back end is a disgrace but i bum bath him as often as i can

It so possible for a guinea to become incontinent, sounds like something else could be going on though. You want to watch out for urine burns as well, do ou best to keep your piggie dry and out of wet spots.

My only suggestion to keep piggy clean would be sensitive skin wet wipes to get the urine off?

These things have been tested on rodents before and if you get the hypoallergenic ones and patch test on the pig I'm sure it would be fine better than constant bum baths and stuff :-)

The vet just said bring her in. I wanted an opinion and they didnt help. grrrr
But when my mom and I take a cloth and wipe her down it wont get wet again for a day or 3 so thats what were doing :)
