Hello everyone,
I have a baby guinea pig who is almost 1 month old now. I noticed that there is somthing wrong under his right eye. The skin there is a bit dry and swollen and pink. I am wondering what is wrong with it. It is not like a tissue coming out from inside the eye. Just the outer skin itself is swollen but just UNDER the eye, not the above part. I wanted to attach a picture of his eye but I can't find the attachment icon. If you could tell me what exactly the problem is with his eye and what should I be doing about this, it would be a great help to me.
Thank you.

Hello,
Welcome to the forum, without seeing a photo it would be difficult to advise what it may be. Please take your piggie to a vet who would be able to diagnose and treat it if necessary. Hope everything goes ok

Hey, if you could tell me a way of showing you his picture, I can. I just couldn't find the attachment link here.
Thank you.

This is his picture. Notice the dryness under his eye and swelling.

I would take him to a vet. It looks sore, poor baby. He is gorgeous by the way.

Yeah I will book an appointment with the vet. And yup he is adorable. I love him.:) Thank you for the help.
