i understand that hay makes up around 80% of a guinea pigs diet and I have tried pretty much every single different types of hay I can get my hands on, most of the time giving them about 3 different choices of hay in their cage. But they still don’t seem to hardly ever touch it, is there a way for me to be able to get them to eat more of it? Thanks

I had this problem with 2 of mine. I cut down the veg and their nuggets to 5gm each a day, they are eating lots more hay now as they are hungry. When they beg for food when the fridge door opens I give them a handful of fresh hay on top of what is already in their cage and they start nibbling it straight away.

It's a difficult one, what types are you feeding them?
