First off, the new owners of Piggle Manor:

My sister recently upgraded her bunnies' hutch, so the piggles got a new home. My boyfriend and I sorted the whole thing out today. In retrospect, i should have taken 'before and after' photos.

So, here we have a full view of the new hutch (don't worry, outside mess in no way affects indoors. my sister's chickens have access to that area of the garden, and it's often not a pretty sight :p).

And this is the bed area. I'm going to add a tube or two at some point, but it's only been sorted today. The sleepy part has a fleece and lots of hay

This is the run. They seem to love the turf, and the slabs are a lot easier to clean than my old hutch.

The doorway at the top has a sliding door to the right, so that i can keep them comfy when it's cold.

The run, in inches, is 72x30. And the hutchy part is 42x30. They look s small in their new home.

Hopefully, i'll be adding a little guy to my herd, to keep my lovely little girlies in check :<>

Great hutch! I am sure that your piggies love their new home!

thanks, it was a really big mess before. now i'm terribly sunburnt :p little lovable fuzzy monsters. definitely worth it though. i'm that sad that the tree earlier had veggie leaves sewn onto it, as incentive to play. they were gone within about 3 minutes of the introduction to the hutch though, so i wasn't quick enough with the camera rolleyes

thanks :)

i just hope it's good enough for the rescue i'm applying for. he looks like such a lovely little guy x)

Ooh! Looks great! I was looking at a similar set up when we got our girls new hutch, but it just wouldn't fit in the space so they've had to have a seperate hutch and pen :(

Good luck with the little guy. Hope all goes well :)

Absolutely love the hutch!
I saw one just like it for €300 the other day.
If I had the space for it I would have been sorely tempted :(

Nice jammies too btw :p

") i'd been outside literally all day. before i sorted that out, there was Hemcore everywhere, bunny mess, a hole that the bunnies had dug to get out of said hutch. plus i had to go out to get loft flooring and the slabs and turf. and after bathing piggles to go in their new home, i took an early shower (relocating a muddy hutch with the help of a hose it messy work)... i didn't see the point in changing into another outfit :red

oh, you just HAD to notice

grrrr

I said they were nice :p
Jammies FTW -c
I know how you feel, pyjamas are the best thing ever after a long day of cleaning up gardens and cages. At least at the end of it all you and your piggies got to be comfy :)

BTW, still jealous of your hutch :<>

i'm jealous of the piggles. i share a tiny room with my little sister. in respect to size, they have a much bigger house than me :p

but yeah, i know what you mean. until you pointed it out, i didn't realise i was in the photo ¬_¬ my boyfriend took the photos. bless him. he's dead overeager with the pigs. his parents are allergic to fur. technically, Tiny and Parsley are his pigs. he's just a bit of a fanatic.

and YAY. i have been deemed worthy of adorable little rescue pig. now i just need to work out how to get to leamington spa :) i'm really happy about that
