Guinea Pigs Of Destruction!

So I bought my pigs a new hay/cardboard house last Sunday.. It's been 6 days and this is what they've done to it. :eek:
I think it's mainly the man pig's work, as he really like to rip and tear things up, bite stuff and head butt stuff about the cage.
Anyone else's pigs like to destroy things?

My girls did that to the exact same house a good few months ago.. To the point the house only had 2 sides and could no longer stand!

They currently have a new one, they only get it at floor time as my elderly sow lives on her own at the moment, so its only fair that way :) they had it in a cage last night as the laminate floor had just been mopped, but they looked bored so went together for some house destruction!

You can see crunchie in the doorway, eating round the edge of the arch.. Looks like what yous have done too @Melanie07 ! :)
 
Hahaha :)) When I give the girls cardboard igloos I just take them out after a short while before it becomes ashes...
 
I love giving my foster piggies cardboard boxes, such fun to be had with Tesco/Asda/Aldi etc. empty freebies! My favourite had to be one of my previous boars who would trundle the boxes around the cage in a very determined fashion.
 
Haha my previous piggy Squiggles would do that. My current girls have never had a hay hut but they only nibble their cardboard!.
 
My two love to resculpture boxes, a good head butt gets them into the right position in the cage!
 
It's on its last legs but mine still have one of those that I bought in August :)
 
:)) Are there any other type! They love chewing stuff, don't they
 
Oh yes, I havestarted using cardboard boxes for my piggies hay, they chew it all night, it drives Justin mad lol
