partner has built excellant pen more like a palace might move in myselve lol. never own them before and i feel like i am a new mother to be all over again panicing if they are going to be to hot in there with this hot weather we are having plus how long am i ment to leave them before i start handling them my partner said leave them on there own for couple of days

I always suggest that you should let them settle for a week but usually people are so excited they only leave it a couple of days.

Ensure their piggie palace has a shaded area if they want to escape the sun and I freeze a plastic bottle with water in it and lay it in the run for them to lie against.

is this their actual home or do they have a hutch/cage to live in the rest of the time?

this is there home and he has built a run for them i got told to move it in doors when winter comes so will have to take run of and move it in conservaty
