hi I’ve just noticed some smaller poos in my guinea pigs cage, is this something I should be worried about? He’s eating and drinking as normal.

Is the bigger poo his aswell? or does that belong to a friend?

He’s also doing big poops as well as small

I would weigh him daily for now and see how he goes. The fact he is passing big ones aswell is good. Sometimes they can break in half too which tends to freak me out if I am on small poo alert. The only thing I would say is that one if them is a bit pointed which can indicate a disturbance in the gut. Has he lost any weight?

He weighs 1200g, the weight from before was his cage mate as I thought it was him who was doing the weird poos. I shall weigh him daily from now on, like i said he’s doing normal poos also
