Guinea Pigs Sore Eye

hi guys my guinea pig hurt his eye last Sunday went to the vets and they prescribed him eye drops , they checked it again on Tuesday and said it was clearing up nicely , I agree. They told me to continue with eye for a few more days, I have and his eye has looked great , just gone to do his eye drop and once it’s dropped in his eye he has scarathed his eye with his paw probably trying to get it out and now it looks sore again! Grrrr , will the swelling go down on it’s own? If so do I risk doing the eye drops again or maybe holding him and restraining him from scratching his eye

This is the eye 5 mins later lol maybe he just iterated it, how long shall I carry the drops on for? X

Continue the drops for as long as the vet has suggested. If unsure then give them a call.
