hi there,

i was just wondering do guinea pigs lose their baby teeth like dogs do?

also i have read that you have to cut guinea pigs teeth if they get too long is this true? and if so does it hurt them and how often do you have to cut them?

Guinea pigs have continually growing teeth, they only have one set.
The teeth of a healthy guinea pig do not need to be trimmed. The teeth are kept to the correct length by being worn down by eating. The teeth only ever need to be trimmed if there is a problem.

sorry for the late reply i went on a short break with a friend, don't worry my mum took good care of ronald lol
