I have to report severe delinquent behaviour on the part of the caravanning cavies. It started a couple of weeks ago but has now escalated to the point where one or another is heading to the point where they become fur collars on our coats. For a while now they have been finding their way into the kitchen, but now the minute the cage is opened for floor time they troop all in a line to the kitchen, with Star now acting as ring leader.

Last weekend saw the culmination of the miscreant behaviour. On Sunday morning i smiled as they trotted into the kitchen. The smile vanished when I went to see what they were upto.

Cosmos was trying to find ways to get under the sink, Twinkle darted under the kitchen table (one with drop down leaves which were closed), Astro had found some cabbage and Star, well Star was sitting atop some shopping bags which were waiting to be put away (containing cans I must add). She was sitting proud as punch on top of the "mountain" she had climbed.

Once chased out of the kitchen we discovered they had found the container for the potatoes and had "sculpted" three of them. Luckily none of them were green as they were very fresh and no ill effects but will someone tell me how to explain to them not to eat spuds as they are bad for them.

Finally this morning as I was preparing their breakfast in the kitchen and happened to glance down only to see Star looking up at me and then she started wheeking and the other three came sprinting into the kitchen expecting treats.

I am now waiting for the gang to take up permanent residence in the kitchen.

:)) Naughty Piggles

Your gang will be running your household soon :) then world domination....

Reminds me of the times I had with the well named Minx and Mischief! :)

I am ever so grateful that my piggies have decided that they don't like the laminate in the hall and don't go gallivanting out of the living room when they are roaming.

Its when you are watching TV and you hear the click click click of claws on laminate and when they run on the laminate and get paw spin.

mine are kept in one room as have dogs and hubby wouldnt appreciatte little presents all over the house

haha reminds me of a pair I had years ago, one got behind our electric fire place and the other behind our oven, mum was not pleased when we had to rip the skirting out in the kitchen to rescue them :-)

Thats so funny I think mine would love the kitchen. My hammy used to try and get in kitchen when in her ball. If door was shut she'd bash into it and you had to move her to other side of the room if you wanted to go in kitchen as she'd race you there!
