Guinea with a burst abcess.

Hi All,
My Guinea boy is 4, has a burst abcess in his eye. Vet has given him a combination of anti biotics, upon recommendation of The cat and Rabbit vets in Northampton.
He started them today and I have noticed orange wee, has anyone every come across this, do I need to worry?

Sorry to hear your boy is having problems!
Is the pee orange when dried? If so I wouldn’t worry, it’s just normal oxidation.
Though there shouldn’t be any signs of blood.

It’s always worth a quick call to your vet to be sure that it’s nothing to worry about

He has been in the run inside for a few months now, his wet patches haven't been this colour before and he started new anti bionics this morning.

Which antibiotics has he been given? And does it look orange when still wet (a pool of pee), absorbed by the bedding or when dried?
