I try looking up his symptoms but nothing shows up. Hes pushing his body forward acting like hes going to throw up multiple times and makes this weird sound like hes coughing. I know he cant throw up tho. Just now we were laying down and he was being normal all pancake like but all of a sudden he started shaking a little, like tremors through his body and his eyes were rolling around. I'm really worried about him and i want to know whats going on :(.

Please see a vet asap this is not normal and only he can tell what is wrong

Only a hands on examination from a vet can tell you what is wrong with him. Please have him seen by a vet.

Hi and welcome!

Please have your boy seen as an emergency as soon as you can!
Fingers very firmly crossed!

Let us know how the vet visit goes, that doesn't sound good at all. :( Please keep us posted. So sorry!

Recommended Guinea Pig Vets

If you’re in the UK and you’re receiving some benefits, then you may be able to get help with vet fees from PDSA. I’m not sure exactly how it works though.

If you really can’t afford vet fees for one then hard as it is, you need to consider your piggy’s rights and give him up to a rescue. Piggies shouldn’t be made to live alone, they weren’t made that way. So if you have trouble covering the fees for one then another wouldn’t be a good idea. Your piggy would do sooo much better with a friend there 24/7.

Sorry for the above, but I felt that it needed saying.

Please do let us know soon as you’ve got an appointment, and once he’s been seen.
