my guineapig is eating and drinking ok but she seems to be in discomfort she has a distended
and bloated tummy i recently gave her more dif fresh foods any idea what
caused this

It's good she is eating and drinking well, but the distended abdomen is a concern. Is she pooping at all? How old is she?

I do have a pig prone to this and I do have a good treatment routine down for this, but I have to recommend seeking veterinary advice to ensure that it's not a case of acute bloat and to have your suspected diagnosis confirmed.

What foods have you been giving her? The introduction of a lot of foods/lots of one new food can lead to bloat, but particular foods can also 'trigger' bloat more easily.

Gripe water may help, however if bloat is suspected I would get your piggy to a vet just to be on the safe side.

my rascal gets a bit like this i find a dose of infacol and a tummy massage helps.certain veg sets him off like celery

my guineapig suzie died today had vet appointment put she just went downhill
