guineas hiding in my hair

hi, when i have my hair down both of my guineas enjoy hiding in it but i try to stop them doing it as i am scared that if they are chewing on it, it wont be good for them as they like to have a good nibble on it, and not to mention it is ruining my hair too lol, i feel bad at tying it up as they love hiding init but worried it will harm them in the long run, does anyone else's guineas do this? and is it bad for them?

Some guineas do like to hide in peoples hair but id stop them if they decide to chew it as in the long run it may cause a blockage.

Mine are always trying to eat my hair! I just wear it up when I hold them.

Mine occasionally try to chew my hair too- if they do I ponytail it. Blockages could result from eating too much of it, though I confess I'm mainly just being vain and not wanting my hair partially gnawed on by guinea pigs!

One of my pigs loves trying to eat my hair! I think the best thing to do is keep your hair up, and give them something else to hide in (like your jacket, a towel, etc.) (:

My hair is too short to hide under, but mine try to get under the collar of my shirt. I think they're just looking for somewhere to hide...

My hair is too short to hide in but Nigel tries to munch on it whenever he can. He chews anything in sight tho

One of the fondest piggy memories I have is five piggles sat chatting away in my hair. Alfie likes to try and have a chomp on my hair but he tends to do that to al lot of things especially my nose if I doze off
