Gulping Guinea!

My Guinea Pig Penelope seems to make a "gulping" noise when she eats. Well, she'll chew on the hay, and when she has almost finished it, she makes a gulping noise a few times. It doesn't seem to be affecting her in anyway... she's still eating lots as per!

I can't remember if she's always done it, but I've definatily been hearing it for a while, but it wasn't until a few days ago until I found out which pig it was. She's quite a big girl, 200g more than her sisters, and her weight hasn't been deteriating at all, she's been gaining like usual.

Also, when she turns around to itch the side of her belly, she makes a similar noise then.

My mum seems to think it's natural, and just how she eats, but I'm quite a worrier.

Any suggestions?! Thanks. x
 
Some greedy eaters can make funny sounds.

Keep an eye on the itching.
