Glad you are enjoying it here, we like to think the forum offers non judgemental support as well as a relaxing place to chat piggy and anything really. Not to mention being able to :drool: over lots of piggy photos
 
Hiya,

We have just got to agree with you and we aren't at all bias.;) One of the great things about the forum unlike Facebook is that it can cope with multiple subjects at the same time and it is a lot easier to find information and threads which are not all piggy related. Gorgeous pigture ...:drool::love:

Its so nice to talk to other piggy people...and not get the " sigh" ( sore fest already speak about something else but your animals today)

I love hearing about other piggies and sharing experiences...my job gets a bit depressing at times as well as stressful as l look after elderly with dementia.
my pigs are what l look forward to after my shift..they wheek and chat to me when l chat to them.
lovely little creatures of God.x
 
You do such a worthwhile job, dementia is such an awful disease and is very draining for those caring for people with it. It is good you have something to help you relax.

No one ever gets bored of piggy chat here I can assure you. We have a games section too to have fun in with 'guess the lyric' games, quizzes etc.
 
It's great to hear the forum is preferred over FB. It's a lovely friendly community here and we have some of the most experienced and helpful piggy slaves on here who can offer sensible practical advice. We also have some great social events (meets) during the course of the year.

Nice to speak to you, yes, I'm an RVN, and I specialize in exotic animals including Guinea pigs. What do you want to know? I do lots of piggie nursing especially in my job with a referral and exotic specialist, but normal RVN's don't always see lots of piggies depending on their practice.

:)) if only I had Abi's knowledge - she is a member I am in awe of and she has the most adorable piggies ever.

It's not embarrassing at all - so don't be :)

Uncle Maugwai - love that name, he sounds like a wise sage :)
 
My other half is looking to train up...he has been offered a weekend role at our local vets...and he is being interveiwed next week...hopefully he will be able to do his training after some experience is that right?♡♡♡
 
It's definitely better than Facebook when it comes to guinea pig topics. Shockingly, many of my Facebook friends are not that excited to hear about the exploits of my guinea pigs! I'm not sure what's wrong with them! LOL!
