Hi there, can anyone help me?

My little one was unwell a month or so ago (he is just over 2 years old) - he suddenly stopped eating, sat fluffed up in the corner, bloated and not pooping (I was having to 'clean him out' that night). I rushed him off to the vet in the morning who gave him 3 different meds (and diagnosed bloat) [I can list the name of the meds if it helps].

He picked up within 48 hours and a few weeks on now is still eating normally (if a little more fussy!) and perky and pooping good ol pellet style rolleyes

However - his stomach is gurgling like he has gas every few hours. At first I really though it was me! :red as it was that loud!

He seems totally fine as I say, back to his happy silly self and squeaking for his food, and eating plenty of hay, dried food, water, veg etc. But his stomach still gurgles which is worrying me.

Does anyone know what this means and should I take him back to the vets? I dont want to stress him out if he is ok, but in 20 years of looking after little squishys I've never experiened this before so I'm worried.

Sorry for the long thread, just thought I'd better give the background

Thanks for any advice x

It can well be a return of the bloat, so I would have him checked out.

Do you know what caused the bloat a few weeks ago? It is worth considering the diet - what foods are you feeding? Cutting out the brassica family of veg is an important first step - so avoiding cabbage, broccoli, kale, brussels sprouts - and also limiting high-sugar foods.

Thanks everyone for your advice, and thanks Laura for re: the broccoli - it's one of the things he has been eating (being picky at the mo') so he's had this everyday - I am going to cut a few things out over the next 2-3 days and monitor and if I still think he's not 100% I'm going to take him back to the vets for a check up. Thanks again x
