So little gus has knocked out his top two incisors doing his kamikaze pig routine. I've booked him in at the vet to have him checked out (and stop me freaking out).
Now a new problem. I don't have a carrier :mal:
I have a small perspex box with a lid (and ventilation slits) that I used for the baby snake when he was too small to go into his big house. It's washed and has been disinfected (peg friendly, of course) would this be OK? It's bigger than and usual carrier.
Also, what do I put in it for the little trip?

I put newspaper and hay in the bottom of my carrier or you could put towel and fleece.

Lots of luck at the vets, let us know how you get on x

Paws crossed. I really went into panic mum mode last night and sat up feeding him mushy veg. From what I've read, they should grow back in a couple of wheeks. Just making sure everything else is OK and get some advise on feeding him until he can bite me properly again! Little guy is cuddled up under my chin. He knows what's coming :(. Thanks for the support you lovely pig parents! Xx

good call on the mushy veg, he must have had a pretty hard knock to knock his teeth out! keep me posted on how he is doing! I would be interested to hear what the vet says

I always put in a little hay & some cucumber but these may not be any good if he's 2 teeth missing. A towel of bit of vetbed to sit on would be nice. Good Luck.

I've managed to find a cardboard pet carrier so he'll be safe in the dark. I've lined it with 2 newspapers and a puppy pad. I'll put him in with a big handful of hay as it's a bit cold outside. I'd wrap him in a towel but he goes a bit nuts if I cover him. I'll pop a few bits of diced cucumber in too. Thanks! :D

Poor little one, please let us know how he gets on.
