Gus's First Bath...

Ahhhhh - just look at that face :love::love::love: Lovely to see Gus here (love to Charlie and their Mom too) xx

He's done well to get this far in life without having to suffer the indignity of a bath.....he must be a very clean boy!

He has always been a very clean boy, always keeping himself tidy & handsome- BUT, being Abyssinian, his poor fur on his back got matted & was hurting him. EVEN WITH ME CONSTANTLY BRUSHING HIM! So what you "can't" see, is how I carefully buzzed his back to relieve him of any/all pulling of his fur, and after a fresh haircut- a nice warm, cozy bath, a teeny touch of coconut oil on my hands followed by a long, slow, loving back rub to treat his sweet skin and then a long snuggle wrapped in a fresh new towel. He is VERY happy, VERY clean, and ready to call it a night. My poor boy...☘
 
Aww Gus is so cute! :luv: He certainly looks very happy in the pictures, but I'm not quite sure if he felt the same way! Gorgeous :drool::love:
 
Wow! That is quite a hair cut, no more messy poops for Gus :D Perhaps he could have a nappy knitted for him to keep his nether regions warm? :))
 
He's chill, probably in more ways than one! I've cuddled him TONS making sure he's cozy and warm & even gave him extra fleeces to curl up with in each of his houses... So far, so good!

Well he'd certainly get tons of cuddles from me if I was near him! :hug: :wub:
