Oh lass my heart sank when I saw this. We are really really sorry to hear this. Hell she was beautiful and so muched loved. My return of helpin is a poor attempt cos you know deep down she's left in the most beautiful way and my words are a small comfort. Ruth I fèel for you and your family. Love Dave and Kath. Big Hugs. I am so sorry! What a rotten year you are having. Sudden deaths always take you hard as you cannot brace for them.

Try to take what scant consolation you can get from the fact that while her passing is all the more upsetting for you, Gwen has not suffered and has had the smoothest journey to the Rainbow Bridge.
 
Oh Ruth, I'm so sorry. As you know, Gwen was a favourite of mine and she alway will be :luv: You gave her a great life whilst she lived with you. Rest in peace little princess xx

Thank you everyone. It really helps to know I have the support of everyone here. Most of my non piggy friends don't understand what it's like to loose one, especially one as special as Gwen. She will be buried tonight in her own pot with the pear tree. She gave me nearly 12 month of joy and I will never forget what she did for me.
 
My heart sank when I saw her name on the RB page :( I am so sorry, so sudden and unexpected, these ones are the always the worst as the shock just floors you. Try and remember she had a life full of love and had the best of everything. Such a beauty and one of my forum favourite pigs. Huge hugs Ruth x x

What, Gwen? NOOOOO! Gorgeous piggy girl I always enjoyed seeing her latest pictures. :bye::bye::bye:

I will miss her terribly so I can only imagine how much worse it is for her piggy slaves.

I am so so deeply sorry for the loss of your beloved Gwen. She really was a stunning sow with a cracking personality and a lot of fans here on the forum. I enjoyed her updates and great pictures where she always looked stunning. It's a damn shame that our beloved furbabies depart this world so quickly when they deserve so much longer. Often it happens without warning and though it is sad I wish every furbaby could pass in their sleep like lovely Gwen. She may be gone but remember she will live on forever in your heart and in all those memories you captured with pictures or videos.

Rest in peace Gwen and may you popcorn free with all those other piggies whom we have all lost. X

I am absolutely gutted for you, @Flutterby. You are having such a rubbish year. But the beautiful ladylike Gwen had clearly found her piggy paradise at your house. Such a fabulously photogenic lady pig. I'm sure she would have stayed longer with you if she could have done. I know it's a horrid shock for you that she went so quickly, but how serene of Gwen to have trotted off to the Bridge so peacefully and without any suffering. Hugest hugs Ruth x

Thank you so much everyone. My beautiful girl is now at rest under her very own pear tree. She has three stone pigs watching over her and I'm going to plant some bulbs around the base. My heart is torn in two at the moment and I miss her beautiful little face greeting me every time I go into the critter room.

Rest in peace beautiful Gwen. I only 'knew' her a shortntime on here but was very taken with her. She was clearly a forum fave.

Love her tree and the stone piggies.
