Senior Guinea Pig
Postie came this morning and brought a big parcel addressed to Gwenivere Humphreys. Inside it were lots of lovely goodies especially for Gwen to cheer her up:
Gwen and I would like to thank everyone for their love and support over the last couple of weeks, but especially to those who helped put these gifts together for my beautiful, special girl.
Glynis (& Velvet & Onyx), Petra, Sandra, Vicky and Mandy - thank you. :rose
Gwen says "wheek wheek" too, she loves the pink bed, it's so her! She'll enjoy the herby treats later today, she'll have to enjoy them very sneakily away from Dexter though but that makes it all the more exciting, and means she can eat her fair share for once. (Dexter forgets his manners when food is around, tut tut!) And she loves the chube too, she loves running through tunnels, they make her feel safe.
She's doing ok today, slipping back a touch in terms of symptoms again but I'm going to try adjusting the dosage of each of her meds, increasing one and decreasing the other. We are hoping to get on with this cage redesign, get it done so that Gwen can be part of a smaller group, which will be more suited to her needs.
Thank you again. The gifts are wonderful, I have some amazing friends. I wouldn't be without any of you! xx
