H&H

Hurrah, time outside to play.
Boys a little reluctant at get out the carrier. Hector seems to be telling Hamish to get a move on!

Now they are both napping, after all the hard work, helping in the garden. Daddy slaves been left outside to finish the job, with the lawn mower!

After Fridays mega fall out, the boys seem to have cleared the air & are happy together.(With the odd rumble of course!) They joined forces to scare away the evil red treat they were offered (it was a strawberry-Daddy slave ate it.)
Hector and Hamish have had a lovely evening stroll outside on the grass & amused me with the little paths they have left through the hay pile today.
I tried to take a photo of the paths. Every hay fluff today resulted in a few tracks forming through it.

You can just see Hamish’s bottom in the photo!

It looks like Hamish and Hector really enjoyed their time on the grass. Sadly my girls will never get to experience the joy of being on the grass (Meg won't ever again, Lexi and Thea have never been on grass) as there are foxes in the garden. My OH saw one just yesterday morning. They get a grass delivery service every day instead.

Sorry to hear your girls have to stay inside due to the foxes. We have a lot Red Kites so have to keep an eye out.
Our boys get a lot of grass deliveries too- especially on working days, being able to let them go outside for a bit is special, I love watching them. They hardly stop eating we are up to about 40mins at a time, hopefully we can make it an hour before it’s cold again.

Lol! I seriously thought they were at the seaside there! 🤣🤣
Biggest fleece blanket I have to cover our red sofa.
Yellow thing left over from some pre photo veggie munching, to calm the nerves!

Such utterly gorgeous boys :luv::luv: So sorry to hear they had a falling out, glad they’re back on happy terms now :)
And happy birthday to Daddy slave, lovely pics!:wub: x

happy Birthday Daddy Slave, bet he is made up with the boys efforts 😆

Happy birthday to piggy daddy Steve. Lovely photos of the little “helpers”:luv:

H&H moved house today….. they are still in the same room.
Both happy bumbling about in their new space that smells very much like them! I used everything that was in the playpen last night. This is my effort to safe washing, no more semi permanent playpen, as their new home is bigger, less floor time unfortunatly.
Us hoomans are a little sad as we both enjoy sitting with the boys for a chat in the evening.

The boys have discovered that at the new height they can eyeball us while we eat at the table!

Sooo, poor Hamish is on pain relief long term. We don‘t know what he's done but he has pain at the base of his spine, mostly on the right side, and not as reactive with his back right leg.
We had a trip to the local vet 4weeks ago, who pescribed metacam and said xray may be good idea. Quoted us £700 for an x-ray.

A trip to Cat and Rabbit clinic the week after…higher dose of pain relief, and told x-ray wont be helpful, or really necessary at the moment. See if we can reduce the pain relief slowly. No luck at reducing pain relief, just been back for a check up this evening.
He is a much happier piggie on pain relief, and we even had a couple of popcorns this week, that we havent seen for a while, we just assumed he was a little older and didn’t feel like popcorning anymore. Makes me wonder how long he has been in pain for before we realised.
