Had A Fight :-(

Well I have put a mesh between them so they are separate but can still see, hear each other. There is no way they can get to each other though. I will take a picture later to show you what I've done. I will try to re introduce them but for now they are together but have a see through wall keeping them apart!
I think you have done the right thing, the cages sound a good size for each boy & the barrier is the right thing so they can still see, hear and smell each other.. It is what I planned for if my 2 boys ended up not getting along. I introduced them at 7 months & 2 months of age. This way only 1 was going through the stroppy teenage phase at a time. We did have a few frightful moments with Peanut Butter continually humping and then boar gluing Hazelnut!

Ok thank you, do I clean it just the once or a few times a day for a couple of days? And do I have to remove the scab bit now to clean it?
This is the current arrangement.

I've tried to upload a picture of the bite but it's not working for some reason

Poor little man! The split cage looks great though! I have my fingers crossed that they will be able to bond again :D

He is still a happy little fellow though :-) am going to try the re introducing this evening. I have to wait until my little one goes to bed, it just couldn't happen otherwise!
