Had a frightful scare

Smores scared me big time. I went to deliver the morning lettuces and usually there is two wheeking faces at me. Choco was over there at me..but I see smores in his bed. I couldnt tell if he was breathing, as only had a lil light in. so I reach in...he usually pulls away. He didnt..so I go get thethe big light on..reach in and pop up he goes..wheeking a storm and doing a cage zoomie.. The lil devil apparently was just in a deep sleep. .phew!

Oh that is a scare! I get nervous when my girls are in deep sleep and I amalways checking if they are breathing.

And I saw Stanley... Flat out on his side... Twitching... Eyes rolling...
I screamed... STANLEY...!
he nearly jumped out of his skin...
Was just having a really good dream I think...

Ohh that always scares me too. Then you feel terrible for waking them up. :red

That pretty well sums it up for me. I get terribly scared when they don't move at times they normally would and then feel terribly guilty if I wake them up unnecessarily. If they don't rush to greet their vegie dishes I creep around trying to see if they are just sleeping. Never works though. I invariably startle them awake and then feel bad.

percy-roo our big buck lop does this! he'll flop over onto one side and lie motionless and unresponsive.... till you poke him and get glared at!

What a scare! I always worry if I do a head count in the morning and someone's not there. It's usually Matilda still asleep and I have to go an wake her up!

Spike's done this to me, it's horrible isn't it? He was in his carry box fast asleep while I cleaned his house out and his eyes were rolling and his ears twitching, I thought her was having a seizure! I gentle stroked him and he woke up.
