Had a surprise from Star this morning

Had a surprise this morning, heard Star singing in the cage. Its been over a year since we last heard her singing but this morning she chirrupped for a good couple of minutes. I havent heard this since we lost Sunshine last January, she used to sing infrequently before then, more frequently during the spring. Nobodies ill, they all seem happy and well fed and they were all snuggled together when she started singing.

Lovely to hear Star has been singing I haven't experienced this with any of our piggies but it seems to be a special thing, maybe Spring time brings on the singing! Let's hope Star is singing to say warmer weather is on the way

No, it was such a shock, she was in the pigloo with cosmos and twinkle all snuggled up. If we catch her again doing it I will try and capture it.

How lovely. mine don't even wheek any more, they hear and just stand there waiting to be fed! Lazy

I'm quite new to guinea pigs and honestly didnt know they sang, would love to hear what it sounds like so hopefully she does it again soon and you can get it on video
