A good surprise, though not with his teeth, they had to be done as usual. They gave me PB's treatment for free!

A few days ago I had donated some unused unopened vet bed to them. Apparently there was enough to do 5 of the new cages they had just got in. So, they were grateful.

And why did I donate 2 rolls of 155 x 70 cm unopened, unused vet bed? Because I thought the newly named cerise colour from my usual supplier was going to be a deep red burgundy or wine like my previous order. It turned up and through the clear plastic cover I could see bright blinding fluorescent pink!

And I have boys and am about to get more boys. My granddaughters already take the mickey out of me for having pink fleece fringe curtains for their cage. As I couldn't return vet bed that had been cut off a roll, I decided to donate it. And I went & re-ordered - blue this time to be safe.

Brilliant!

Your vetbed debacle did make me laugh though as I am currently sat on the floor trimming our new bright blue vet bed to size. The set it's replacing is lilac which we picked when we had the campest little piggy ever and lilac suited him. Since he left us and our new lads are more manly we are having a change to blue :)

Lilac! Yes, that wouldn't have gone over well here either :D

Yay it's nice when things like that happen :-)
How is peanut butter feeling after his dental? x

PB has had to have monthly dentals since he was 8 weeks old and he was 3years old last August, so he copes well with them. Mind you it's only his incisors, so far his molars are fine. An X-ray revealed he has a rather bad overbite, hence the continually overgrown incisors. Because he has to have them monthly & for life, the vet already gives me a discount on the procedure. Which is why I was happy to donate the vetbed to them. Didn't expect the return generosity!

That's great a lovely thing to do by you and a nice unexpected good turn back. Hope PB is feeling better after his dental. I would have loved to have seen your boys on the pink vetbed :))

Aww that's a lovely surprise! So nice to know there are kind and decent people and vets out there!

It wasn't just pink, it was bright fluoro pink! I would have never lived it down with family & friends. Especially the 5 year old boy who lives next door & likes to visit the piggies every weekend.
