So just got back from holiday to find that whilst I was away my two boars had to be seperated as the younger one, Alvin, bit Harvey which caused blood to be drawn and swelling. Harvey healed nicely but Alvin is definately trying to be more dominant and aggressive to him. Now they are both seperated and alone. I am not aloud to get any more guinea pigs and don't have the space for anymore anyway.
Was wondering if since Alvin is being more dominant and aggressive to Harvey, would it work to get Alvin neutered. This is something i'd have to think about as all the horror stories you hear about neutering has scared me and it would be a last resort.
Alvin is about 2.5-3 months, Harvey will be 2 in september
