Hafina has arrived and has met the Tribe. The signs were good; no agression at all, but the poor girl is a bit on overload, so she is now in her own cage in order to get her bearings.

But then it go a little bit too much for her after she met the tribal big wigs under the lean-to:

Her arrival has caused quite a bit of a stir with the tribe (once the bellies were full, that is) and the interest in her and her cage was big:

Aww bless her. Hafina is gorgeous and it looks like she is already settling in. Her colourings just fit the rest of the tribe perfectly and Llewelyn must be in his element :)) x

I've been thinking about how things were going all afternoon. I'm glad things are going well. :) What a lovely addition to your lovely tribe.
 
Looks like she is settling in well, hope things continue to go well when she is with them properly. She is lovely.

That's just what I was thinking Claire - a glorious new member, with perfect colour co-ordination. She's a fabulous colour, isn't she.

I'll look forward to hearing (and seeing) more of her.

Llewelyn is busy chasing every girl that gets in his way right now; he's rather excited! rolleyes There were no fights when the two met, so I'm positive.

At the moment, Hafina is completely crashed out!
 
awww she defo fits in colour wise:)) i hope that they all like her:... she really is a lovely sow and showed not signs of been dominant at all:)

Apart from Nerys being her usual grumpy self (but no more), there has been no sign of anything other than a lively interest and a quiet sniff by the sheriff to see whether she has any amibitions - which she has not, so the big wigs are no longer bothered as far as Hafina is concerned. It's simply up to Hafina to move in with the tribe whenever she is right and ready.

No, she can't get out of the cage (and right now doesn't want to!)

Once she looks relaxed and shows a lively interest in the Tribe, she will meet them properly again. Until then, she will have her own space to settle and to get her bearings in her own time. I can be tomorrow or the day after - there's no hurry; I'm just waiting for the right signals.

got to love nia, never away from the food :) hafina looks lovely and i am sure she will settle in grand!
 
She's lovely :) I have a soft spot for ginger guineas, but that's probably a bias born of sympathy from a fellow red-head :))

Also loving all the Welsh names. Do you have to spell them out every time you take one of them to the vet?
