Went in the other day and saw a sign. It read and I quote
" Although we try our best, it is not always possible to guarantee the sex of our animals"
If they try their best I'd hate to see what their worst is!!

I think you'll find that it is a 'get out' statement so that they are no longer responsible for the aftermath of mixed sexes. Dobbies garden centre (owned by Tescos) pet department have been using that pathetic excuse for ages.

It baffles me! Surely if you work in a pet shop like P@H you should have some sort of basic knowledge of the animals they sell and thus be able to sex them properly. It's not difficult with pigs (I'm not sure about other rodents). I would have thought they would need some sort of manager or supervisor that has the training to know what they're on about mallethead

Just when I was in there there was a woman who had found out her pet was the opposite sex!
